Olympic gold medalist and Jacksonville resident Shannon Miller has made a deal to become the official spokeswoman of a Jacksonville-based healthy snack company.

The company, Natural Plus Energy, sells seven flavors of snack bars on Facebook, at drugstore.com and in independent retailers and gymnasiums throughout the country.

Miller medaled in the 1992 and ‘96 Olympic games in gymnastics, including gold medals in the team and balance beam competitions. Since then she’s founded the health and wellness company Shannon Miller Lifestyle in Jacksonville. She was honored by The Business Journal as a woman of influence this year.
